Let's just say this year has been off to a pretty good start. I am not one to really say that a new year should be a start of a new and better habits, but I do support self-growth. I know one of my biggest weaknesses is being able to consistently keep a good habit up. So I thought it would start off this year with a blog of two of my many adventures for 2018.
1st Adventure for the year would have to be a small cabin trip to Arrowhead Lake with some friends from work. Unfortunately, I started the trip off bad by getting a bit sick. I was able to drag myself out there and enjoy everyone's company while snagging this awesome sunrise shot of Arrowhead Lake.
2nd Adventure of the year was quite a bit more successful. With some help of some good friends, a trip was planned to Big Bear for a weekend of snowboarding and cabin fun. It has been 10 years since I've snowboarded, and I was extremely nervous about how it was going to turn out. Needless to say, I have made it out alive. It was a extremely nice weekend, as it had recently snowed and I only got wadded up a few times on the slopes. As always, the evening shenanigans were entertaining and it was pleasant to see everyone having fun.
Cheers to the next trip!
